Keeping It Going With Introspective Prompts

Making the 5 pillars actionable for you

This week we’re going straight for the action! Get ready to journal, folks!

We recently dug into the 5 pillars of the journey From Curiosity to Community. If you missed it or need a refresher, you can learn more here within my free Shadow Work Mini-Course. The info gave you a foundation on the principles. Now I want to give you some journaling prompts so you can take the info from just words and make it into actionable reflection.

Shadow work time!

Below each of the pillars has a photo that shares a bit about what it is, along with journaling prompts for your shadow work efforts. Solo or with others! You can write it out, type it out, or talk it out (verbal processing like I do with you in my 1:1 Guide Program). With your mechanism of choice, go forth!

CURIOSITY

A light cream background textured with gold flecks along with a definition of the word curiosity in action.
  • What experience from your past are you currently releasing?

  • How does this process of releasing support who you want to be?

  • What does curiosity represent for you in this season of life?

CLARITY

  • What is your relationship with not knowing the answers?

  • What practices help you to find clarity?

  • How do you decipher what you think (in your head) from what you feel (in your body)?

INTUITION

  • How does your intuition guide your decision-making process?

  • Are you able to trust your intuition? Why or why not?

  • How would a fruitful partnership with your intuition support your future?

CONNECTION

A light cream background textured with gold flecks along with a definition of the word connection in action.
  • How does connection with others support your current life?

  • How can reconnecting with yourself support your most important interpersonal relationships?

  • What role does connection play in the future you seek for yourself?

COMMUNITY

A light cream background textured with gold flecks along with a definition of the word community in action.
  • What feeling(s) does the concept of community invoke in your body?

  • What does interdependent community mean for you?

  • What people in your life now are examples of those you want to build interdependent community with, and why?

I decided to pull a card to support you in integrating these journaling prompts. I pulled from the Obsidian Fortuna Tarot Deck and got X. Fortuna, which in the RWS system is traditionally the Wheel of Fortune. It is the 10th card in the Major Arcana. It evokes the energy of the cycle of an infinity symbol. The cyclical nature of our journey and the ever-present opportunity to keep trying. Keep evolving. Keep exploring. Remember that there is always room to keep going and to stay open to what is next.

It just might be great.
